2016 NUF SED RED

2016 Nuf Sed Red - Our ‘Nuf Sed Red’ label was inspired by an old family pear box label from the 1940's.  It is in honor of our Grandfather who used the phrase "Nuf Sed" to describe the quality of fruit grown in Newbry Orchards. To honor our family heritage, we strive to craft wine worthy of the name by using premium grapes grown in the best vineyards of the region.  

The 2016 vintage offers layers of complexity and supple tannins.  Bold, dark and red fruit characteristics of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, and roasted fig.  The addition of Sangiovese gives this wine a uniquely harmonious experience. We are really excited about our second release of our family wine and can’t wait for it to be shared and enjoyed with you and your family.

Blending Detail:  Cabernet Sauvignon  70% - Merlot 20% - Sangiovese 10%
Aging Profile: 22 months in 50% new French Oak & American Oak, and 50% once filled & neutral 
French Oak barrels.

Production: 275 cases, 14.3% alcohol
