Nuf Sed Red - Our ‘Nuf Sed Red’ label was inspired by an old family pear box label from the 1940's. It is in honor of our Grandfather who used the phrase "Nuf Sed" to describe the quality of fruit grown in Newbry Orchards. To honor our family heritage, we strive to craft wine worthy of the name by using premium grapes grown in the best vineyards of the region.
This is the fourth vintage of what we like to call our 'family wine'. For our Nuf Sed Red, our goal each year is to highlight a number of different varieties, providing ample blending options, and creating a unique wine that dances and plays with your palate. This year is no exception. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
Hints of dark spiced fruit and fresh tobacco leaf are mingled with depth and a robust mouthfeel. A slightly more pronounced oak note than last year, giving a beautiful vanilla impression. These flavors linger on the palate with a powerful finish. A great example of the magic of blending!
