This single vineyard Petit Verdot is intensely bold, fruity-yet-floral. The flawless texture is immediately pleasing on the palate, with both tannin and acid in perfect balance with the dense core of fruit. Petit Verdot is traditionally reserved as a minor blending grape in the world famous, Bordeaux wine blend. However, the 2017 growing season was long and warm allowing for this late ripening varietal to fully ripen and stand on its own in the bottle. We are really excited to introduce this wine for the first time to our wine club.
